I am waiting for the sun to rise above the sea. Yet, I cannot find the sun, but I can see the sky gradually glowing from black blue to dark blue, to light blue. As I face the misty, endless sea, I am drawn by it even more, especially the emotions derived from the unattainable space. Just like Sisyphus and dung beetles, we cannot escape from the ever-retreating and yet gravitational nature of the vanishing point at the far end. Some people see it as a sense of doom, an inescapable prison; on the contrary, it makes me feel more connected to something, and relieves my obsession with some other things. I guess this is what I have been searching for. -
The Unfinished appears as an irregular, sea-blue cube housing a narrow, sanctuary-like interior. Inside, a tilted projection aligns with a sloping floor, drawing the body into an unsteady posture that mirrors a drifting mind. Seen from the outside, the video's leaning ocean meets the true horizon. As one steps within, reality begins to lean. In the faint light of dawn, the sky bleaches into an endless blue, devoid of a sun.
